First, I want to say how much I enjoy your products. I am tempted to go crazy and just get a dub every game but I stop and realize how much time and work I have put into my account. I make sure not to look suspicious at all times and often die on purpose or look extremely noobish at the game. (Especially if being spectated in warzone.) ?
Some crash solutions: (May not work for all)
Go through Services and switch any non-essential service to manual instead of automatic, this should only be done on third part software and not on any structural system services. Also stop any of the processes in the mean time. There many be unique services based on your applications and hardware, so evaluate the usage and whether they are necessary to be running all the time. This helps not only with this, but also your long term computer health and speed. NEVER use desktop overclocking software either. If you truly want to overclock, do it through your bios directly. One exception is GPU overclocking which must be done through desktop software. (Note: GPU overclocking did help stability with crashes in this, I run a 2080TI Ultra with all setting maxed and run 180-260FPS and the overclocking attempts to take some stress off the CPU. Another big helper for Nvidia GPUs is to go into Nvidia Control Panel > Configure Surround, PhysX > PhysX Settings > Change the Processor from “Auto-Select” to your GPU. Most games automatically use your GPU for this but in cases like Modern Warfare, they use the CPU as much as possible (Huge programming fault in this game) by default and this will help override that problem. Some big trouble makers that cluttered my PC were the following:
Nahimic Service
OfficeClickToRun
RazerCentralService (Will run automatically by default, even if you close all Razer applications)
Corsair.Service (Will run automatically by default, even if you close all Corsair applications)
Downloaded Maps Manager
Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Service
OneSyncSvc
ASUS Update Service
Alternative Controller Software:
I was running into a lot of controller input lag and key binding issues that were very frustrating with KeySticks; ex. Not able to run, parachute failing to open, couldn’t open packages. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. A new software that I found which is much more updated and has more functionality (Including Xbox Elite Series 1&2 support) is called reWASD. This does come with a free 14-day trial with every needed feature for basic gameplay. I ended up buying the bundle pack with everything for like $14.99 that includes rapid fire mods and toggle controls, along with much much more. The base version after trial is $6.99. I am not trying to solicit nor am I being paid to promote the product, I just found it online and tried it out and it saved me big time. Just set the service priority to low, so it doesn’t use unnecessary resources.
